I've lived on the UES for more than a decade and I'm embarrassed to say that it was just last week I came here as wowza, the food is top notch. The presentation is also beautiful, with care and flair on each dish. It's a feast for the eyes as well as your taste buds. You can't go wrong honestly with anything you choose as we saw dish after dish hit the tables around us and all looked like home runs. The spicy ceviche was delicious and had a nice mix of seafood. The octopus was tender and moist with just the right sear. The fried plantains with goat cheese, wow! And the tuna + watermelon is a killer combo. And holy tres leches! That was a do not miss finisher. Drinks were also very good and just a perfect Saturday night starter. I would say, the temp of the restaurant was wayyyyy too hot given these summer temps. The restaurant needs to be a real place for relief and not just a "slightly cooler" version of outside. We really needed it to be much more chill, in fact, we probably would have had an extra round, but we needed to find a cooler bar to enjoy another round as this spot was very warm as the night picked up too.

My family and I went here tonight and it was fabulous - the food, the service, the ambiance. The food was not only delicious, authentic, and high quality ingredients, but the presentation was beautiful on the plates. So artistic! Marbelle was our server and she was delightful and kind. She brought us an appetizer to test (it's not on the menu yet) which was such a special treat and shows the restaurant/owner cares about the customer experience. They were also so accommodating to let us bring our dog in a stroller and sit on the outside patio. I highly recommend this place.

We had a sushi roll which was excellent and unique. Ceviche was very good, even though it was lacking some form of chips, e.g. tortillas, flatbread, ... For the main course, I had the pulled chicken dish which was perfect. Service was top notch, with good ambience. The restaurant would benefit from increased ventilation though.

Our party of 5 came on Father's Day. Started out with some of their tasty Pisco, especially the passion fruit one! The ceviche started to come out and tasted so exquisitely light and fresh. Our third dish was the grilled octopus and it was so good we had to order another. The octopus was smokey and tender. Then came the yellow fin tartare and each successive dish reached another higher level. There was simply no let down. Whether it was the ceviche or cooked dishes, the kitchen just out did themselves one after another. Service was impeccable--whether it was refilling water glass or removing used dishes, the staff was amazing. Bottom line: you will be blown away.

Delicious lunch, all dishes had so much flavor and right balance! Favorites were the guacamole which they show you the presentation before being smashed, it was creamy and the avocado was braised prior, had some char to it with a sauce & little chilli. I enjoyed the mixto ceviche with Octopus, Sea Scallops, Mahi mahi ,Shrimp , super refreshing! Peruvian risotto and the shrimp Peruvian stew were outstanding. The only thing was service was bit slow, kept having to ask to refill water as it was hot where we were sitting, AC wasn't flowing there. Also ordered the tamales which took a very long time to come out, everyone was finished with their meals. The desserts were delicious and unique! Overall the food is amazing and this place is a must try!

Cool spot with awesome selection of food. Ambiance of the place is nice and they have great cocktail options. Highly recommend one of the ceviches to start. We also tried the grilled octopus. For main, we did the arroz con Mariscos which I thought was ok. The rice could have been a little more flavorful. But overall, this is a cool spot to check out.

7.4/10 Came here for drinks and ceviche. Solid spot, have heard a lot about it -- the drinks were great/excellent, and they do a great job with service and vibe. It is a little rowdy, but elevated and intimate as well. The service was attentive, kind, and expert. MARACUAYA SOUR - they have a variety of margaritas and I got this one wich was nice and acidic, sweet, and had a beautiful foamy layer on top which tasted excellent. ROASTED SPICY EDAMAME - dressed up edamame in a spicy sauce, good appetizer to start with CLASSIC CEVICHE How could we come here and not get their ceviche? While i think the fish was super high quality and fresh, it was a bit chunkier than I was thinking of (maybe that's my incorrect expectation) and it had a nice crunch from a variety of components including onions and nuts, though my experience with ceviche abroad has been smaller pieces, veggies and all so that there's more of a mixing together of ingredients. These ingredients felt more separate. I can taste the quality and care but would have preferred a different texture - maybe this is a regional difference. I would say great/excellent drinks, good ceviche!

I dropped in for super early evening cocktails and apps. My expectations were scattered based on some recent reviews regarding service. While I have no idea what service is always like here, I have to say ours was impeccable. They were eager to explain the flavor profiles of their innovative cocktails, provided some kind of free corn nut and banana chip snack, and also treated my girlfriend to a sampler of a mocktail, which was delicious. We sat at the bar and they could not have been any nicer or more helpful. The space is bright and relaxing. My two cocktails were stunningly perfect and the Caesar salad was the best I've ever eaten.

Did the pre fixe lunch menu here and sat out on the patio. Service was a bit on the slow side. The food is definitely good, but like most pre fixe menus do know that the portions are going to be small-ish. The tres leches dessert I was least pleased with; it was only one bite. Really enjoyed the octopus starter, it was cooked well and the sauce beneath it was delicious. Salmon wasn't anything special. So a bit pricey for what you get, and the food is interesting and good, but I wasn't blown away. I could be convinced to try more of the menu and the cocktails, and maybe sit inside. The decor is cool but they had the music up pretty loud.

A very cool place to go and have a great dinner. The atmosphere has a good uptown vibe to it, a trendy kind of place. It is a little pricey and the portions are smaller than I would have thought. But the quality is very good. The waitstaff was very attentive once they got to us, but there were sometimes long stretches between being checked on for more drinks, remove plates, need anything else, check, etc... Started with a couple of the Pisco drinks, one with pineapple one with dragon fruit. Both were excellent and were $19 each for each small cocktail. Other specialty drinks were $20-$23 each. Shared appetizer of the mixto ceviche, good selection of fish, octopus, shrimp, etc.... Tasty, good flavors with the Tigers milk base. Then got an order of the grilled octopus to share. Cooked perfectly, not chewy and had a nice bite to it. I then had the Aji De Gallina, a classic thick chicken stew type dish. Flavors were really terrific; I could have eaten another one. Companion had the Arroz con Mariscos, mixed seafood on a risotto style dish, also really good. And a shared order of the fried plantains. Those were truly wonderful as the plantains had a good pan-fry on them and an almost chocolate Mole' sauce on the bottom and topped with goat cheese. Truly terrific. There were some new twists and flavors from the classic dishes that they represent but everything was pleasing. Familiar but different??? I would recommend this as a fun place to go and have a good time. If the service had been a little more on top of it, and the portions a little larger for the price point, I would have rated this as a 5-star experience. I hope that this review helps.
